Introduction to the Laboratory Management System

The Physical and Chemical Testing Center established its laboratory management system in accordance with CNAS-CL01 (idt ISO/IEC 17025) – General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories – and obtained accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) in January 2005. The accreditation scope covers steel materials, iron ore, metals and metal products, ferromagnetic materials, and coal. The accredited testing methods include chemical analysis, instrumental analysis, physical performance analysis, and metallographic analysis, totaling 4 major categories and 29 analytical parameters.

The Testing Center is equipped with 48 sets of main testing equipment, of which 50% are imported. The equipment includes X-ray fluorescence spectrometers, direct-reading spectrometers, ICP spectrometers, infrared carbon-sulfur analyzers, oxygen-nitrogen-hydrogen combined analyzers, metallographic microscopes, image analyzers, universal testing machines, fully automatic Brinell-Rockwell-Vickers hardness testers, upsetting testers, torsion testers, and more. The equipment level fully meets the requirements for testing and analysis capabilities.

The Testing Center has participated multiple times in domestic and international laboratory proficiency testing organized by CNAS. It possesses the technical competence to perform testing services in accordance with relevant international accreditation criteria, has earned the full trust of downstream users, government authorities, and various social sectors, and has gained recognition from laboratories in countries and regions that have signed mutual recognition agreements with CNAS. This provides strong support for the company's products to secure a presence in domestic markets and enter international markets.
